Typical First Visit
First, you will be asked to fill out our required new patient forms, which will help us gain important information about you and your spinal health. If you would like to fill out these forms prior to your first visit, please visit our new patient forms page to print copies of the required forms.
After reviewing your health history and symptoms, the doctor will discuss your condition with you to determine if chiropractic care will benefit you. If he finds that your condition would be better served by another physician, he will refer you to the doctor that will be able to help you the most.
After this consultation, you will undergo a chiropractic examination to help the doctor gain a better understanding of your spinal health. This will include testing your reflexes and range of motion, as well as other postural, orthopedic and physical traits. The doctor may take an X-ray or recommend other additional testing. The doctor will then discuss treatment options with you.
Depending on your unique case, spinal manipulation and other treatments may or may not be done on the first visit. The doctor will go over a treatment plan with you, which may include physical rehabilitation, physiotherapy and/or massage therapy, all of which are available at Dr. Webb and Associates. Please visit our treatment page for more information on possible treatments.
