Dr. Kelly Crooks, DC
Dr. Kelly Crooks has been in private practice in Washington, PA since 1977 providing the highest quality of conservative spine care to the residents of Washington County and the surrounding area. His practice is centered on the management of acute and chronic biomechanical non-surgical spine injuries caused by auto accidents, work-related and sports injuries.
Dr. Crooks graduated from West Virginia University receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Several years later he completed a four-year program in Orthopedics with Logan College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Crooks continued updating his education to stay abreast of the most effective treatment procedures for neck and back pain. He has trained and received certifications in sports medicine injuries, management strategies for low back pain and sciatica, and musculoskeletal MRI interpretation, flexion/distraction lumbar treatment, graduate of the masters program for whiplash neck injuries, fibromyalgia protocols, functional capacity evaluations, evidence-based spine care, and spine care for the primary spine specialist. In 2021 Dr. Crooks completed the University of Pittsburgh Primary Spine Practitioner program, a one-year intensive certification program for non-surgical spinal practitioners.
Dr. Crooks has been an avid road and mountain cyclist for the past 30 years. He raced with a local cycling team for 5 years and completed over a hundred races. He also enjoys snowboarding and weight training.
Dr. Crooks has two sons, Ryan Crooks, MD and Wesley Crooks, and a stepdaughter, Kylie Mascara- Gupta, and one grandson, Ari Maximus. Dr. Crooks and his wife, Diane Mascara-Crooks, reside in Washington, PA.
